Amy Brown

Senior Clinical Psychologist and FREED Implementation Lead (Maudsley)

Amy is a senior clinical psychologist at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and has extensive experience working with eating disorders. She has published a number of papers and book chapters in the field, primarily focused on early intervention and treatment in eating disorders. Having played a key role in developing FREED from the start, she is delighted that the innovation has already transformed the lives of so many young people and their families. In her on-going role as ‘FREED implementation Lead’, she is excited about working towards there being access to early intervention for all young people, wherever you happen to live.

When she is not at work, you are likely to find Amy either feeling Zen on her yoga mat or getting muddy at a music festival.
