Danielle Glennon

Clinical Lead/Principal Psychotherapist (Maudsley)

Danielle is the Clinical Specialist Service Lead at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) Eating Disorder Service.  She is a highly experienced service lead and clinician within the eating disorders field and NHS.  Some of the key skills of her role include working with complex patients, staff development, care pathways, quality improvement & ensuring effective translation of research to practice.  She is co-author of book chapters and many research papers and led the team to win various prestigious awards including the British Medical Journal Award.

Danielle is also one of the developers of FREED and Project Lead.   She is proud to see how FREED has helped patients and their families access the care they need  and is looking forward to ensuring FREED is spread nationally and internationally so it is available to all. Outside work you can find her getting downtime with her dogs, plants and watching trashy TV.
