I qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 2001 from the University of Birmingham. Since this time I have worked in a number of mental health settings.

I have worked in Eating Disorders Services for approximately ten years. During my time in the Derbyshire Eating Disorder Service for adults I have worked on a number of initiatives to improve patient experience and outcome. I work mainly as a therapist and have completed training in a number of therapies including systemic practice, DBT and SSCM. I am currently undertaking MANTRA training. I am also a Non-Medical Prescriber.

I am the first FREED champion in Derbyshire and am excited to be part of increasing access to our adult service in a way which evidence shows increases recovery outcomes.
