Professor of Eating Disorders, Consultant Psychiatrist and FREED Executive Director (Kings College London)

Ulrike is Professor of Eating Disorders at King’s College London and a Consultant Psychiatrist at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. She has published about 400 peer-reviewed papers and many other publications on eating disorders, including textbooks, patient manuals, and online treatment or training packages. She is the recipient of multiple awards, including a National Institute of Health Research Senior Investigator Award for distinction in people-based research. As one of the developers of FREED, she is passionate about early intervention and learning more about how to implement this effectively. Ulrike recharges her batteries by going hiking in wild and wonderful places.
