The values of FREED align with those of the service in terms of responsiveness, inclusivity, flexibility and driving up standards of eating disorder care. The service welcomes the opportunity to share good practice with other eating disorder services to improve services for all.
FREED is part of exciting developments in the well-established service to improve eating disorder services for all adults and to provide parity of services across its contracted areas and with waiting times in Children and Young People’s Eating Disorder Services. The service praised the support of its local CCG commissioners in supporting these developments to offer an enhanced eating disorder service which will improve the lives of people with eating disorders in the HMR area.
FREED will be launching in other GMMH CCG areas over 2022 and is committed to this being available to all adults in the Greater Manchester area.
