West London NHS Trust (WLT) went live with their FREED pathway on the 16th March 2022. The launch, which took place remotely, consisted of two uniquely delivered webinar events – one for General Practitioners in the referring Boroughs (Ealing and Hounslow), and the other for internal referrals from within WLT.
Both events celebrated the impact of FREED launching for 18–19-year-olds, which will now be available to them to access a specially designed service, to begin their journey to recovery. A general atmosphere of excitement and optimism was felt throughout both events, with highly engaging discussions between wider NHS colleagues and FREED service members. Concluding both events with these impactful discussions left a strong sense of enthusiasm towards this successful launch and the future impact and value of FREED.
